Starting in March 1994, RM Rubber & Plastic Company came together after, Robert Royce and Dennis Madsen, had spent decades working in the industrial rubber industry. Working in rubber since the 1960s, both owners have a wealth of knowledge and experience that has turned RM Rubber & Plastic Company into a standout industry leader in the Intermountain West.
The two talked for a long time about starting their own outfit in the rubber business and from the very beginning found success in doing so, going from a small 1,800 sq. ft. manufacturing shop in 1994 to a 3.98 acre property with a new shop of 6,000 sq. ft. in only 4 years.
In 2010 RM Rubber & Plastic Company added another 5,000 sq. ft. to our manufacturing space and now have onsite capabilities in rubber application that include:
- Cold storage for our materials
- Ten ton & five ton overhead cranes
- 8-1/2′ diameter x 25′ autoclave & 4′ diameter x 10′ autoclave
- A lathe
- Two presses for molding
- 40′ x 50′ sandblast building
